so, i left off at......

oh yeah......the yellowcard concert......

first of all......a little bit of background on my yellowcard facination......

back in the summer of 2003.....i attended the X96 Big Ass Show......a good sized concert event featuring bands such as: Eve 6, AFI, Alien Ant Farm, The Used and Yellowcard.....

at the time, i just went to see AFI and Alien Ant Farm (i love their cover to "Smooth Criminal" and their song "Glow").....

when i got to the concert......there was a band already on stage......so i pushed myself through the crowd.....got all the way up to the front......AND FELL IN LOVE......i didn't know who they were......didn't know any of their songs......all i knew was that they ROCKED......and there was a guy running around on stage with a white violin.......

so that was MY VERY FIRST experience with yellowcard.....seeing them play LIVE......and i knew right there that they were going somewhere......that was Sep 2003......

i went out and bought their Ocean Avenue cd within a week of being at the concert......and i loved EVERY song on the cd......

doncha hate it when you buy a CD and you like one or two songs, and the rest sounds like CRAP?????

(like Alient Ant Farm......lol.....i bought the CD with "Glow" on it.....and yeah.....didn't like anything else)

anyway......since the show Sep 2003......i've been an avid fan......

nov 2004......i get my "Beyond Ocean Avenue DVD" (one of my most prized possession) AND i got to see them LIVE again......that concert was kick ass......i got general admission (cos i bought tickets as soon as i could)......and people were soooo jealous cos only a few hundred got to be on the floor......and the rest of the fans had seats......and yeah......i still have my ticket stub and bracelet......

then nov 2005 rolls around......

and i got an email from the fan site about yellowcard coming to salt lake......(yeah, i'm an actual fan......with membership and everything).......

and oh shit......it's freakin 2:13 am in the morning......

where da hell does time fly????......

i'll have to come back to this.......i gotta sleep for work tomorrow......crap
