Movie Review: Cursed

well tonite was fun......my cousin scored advanced tickets to CURSED with chistina ricci.......and it was interesting......i would see it again, but for reasons you wouldn't think of........

and i just got to say that it was the FUNNIEST movie i've ever seen made by wes craven........it wasn't even scary........i mean, it isn't listed as a comedy, but c'mon.......a PG SCARY FILM????????........the theater was crackin up.......it was a cool movie.......reminded me of a "high school" movie........i would definately see this again cos i just thought i was funny........it's about a curse.......a WEREWOLF curse........and it was just funny.......ellie and her brother jimmy get bit by a werewolf and now they are slowly turning into werewolves........the only way to "break" the curse is to find the werewolf that started it all.......and during this time jimmy (who's in high school) goes from nerd to chic with his "new senses" and ellie can smell blood and has a certain sex appeal now.......i don't wanna spoil the movie too much........but the most memorable line from the movie was "YAY!!!!!!.....GO GAY!!!!!!" (it's a great & hilarious scene)........i don't think the movie was scary at all.......it was more like a thriller/comedy........oh and the music.......don't get me started on that.......it was sooooooo off.......like "birds in a meadow" instead of the "creepy things that bump in the night" music......and EVERYONE was just laughing their asses off....... and the guy that plays lex luthor on smallville is in this movie too......WITH HAIR......that was strange to see, i've never seen him with hair.......and dawson creek's joshua jackson is also in the movie.......

and the guys we were with was just rollin.......i mean, it isn't FUNNY FUNNY......it's more like "it's funny that wes craven thinks this movie is supposed to scare me" funny.......

true.....it does have it's creepy moments.......but that's about it........ i would see this movie again if i needed a "pick-me-up".......
